On the 5th September 2005, the Association's Honorary Patron, Gordon Ramsay OBE launched a Buy a Brick Appeal to raise £850k required to build a new Family Support Centre and Scottish Head Office in Cumbernauld, Glasgow.
The Centre was completed in April 2006 and on the 22nd November 2006 was officially opened by Gordon Ramsay OBE.

The new facility accommodates the Family Support Service and is allowing the Association to expand its support services to meet our users needs in the 21st Century. As well as providing a relaxing environment for families to visit, it provides training, recreational and support services and is also uniquely equipped with a Telemedicine suite. The telemedicine suite enables those with spina bifida and hydrocephalus to receive medical advice via video-conferencing equipment from health professionals based across the UK, therefore minimising travel.
