By purchasing a product or event ticket from our online shop, you agree to the following terms:
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Solo. All our payment process is hosted on a secure server handled by Sage Pay. We also accept payment by cheque as long as you write the valid cheque guarantee card number, issue number, expiry date and your name and address on the back of the cheque. Unfortunately we are unable to dispatch goods until the cheque has cleared. Cheques should be made payable to the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
If you wish to order by post, please send your order to us at: Shop SSBA, Scottish Spina Bifida Association, The Dan Young Building, 6 Craighalbert Way, Cumbernauld, G68 0LS. Please state clearly the address where you wish the product to be delivered, including a contact telephone number should there be any queries, and enclose your cheque made payable to the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
All orders placed with the Scottish Spina Bifida Association are subject to availability. In the event that an item is out of stock, or an event sold out, every effort will be made to highlight this on the website. However, something is ordered which is out of stock a member of the Scottish Spina Bifida Association team will contact you by email or phone to advise you of the delay and see what you want to do. Stock is limited and can take a few weeks to restock. On rare occasions, more than one customer may have the last of a specific item in their basket – if this happens the person who checks out first will secure the item and we will contact the other customer to advise.
Please see our separate returns section. The Scottish Spina Bifida Association reserves the right to refuse any returns which are returned outwith the 14-day returns period. Any items which are damaged, are not in their original condition and do not have the original tags and labels attached will not be accepted. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

We undertake to deal with any complaint quickly and sympathetically.
In a bid to do our bit for the environment we will reuse packaging and boxes wherever possible.
We will not pass on your details to any other party.
The Scottish Spina Bifida Association reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.
The terms and conditions constitute the agreement the Scottish Spina Bifida Association and you (the customer) have in respect of the use of our services and of our website, www.ssba.org.uk. The agreement is governed by Scots law.
You are not permitted to reproduce images or exploit site content for any personal or commercial purpose. We pride ourselves on our close relationship with our customers and if you have any problems we urge you to get in touch.
We hope that your order is to your complete satisfaction. However if you change your mind please contact us within 14 days*.
To do this, return to your order in the "My account" section of the site. You can then fill in the form and request a return. Alternatively, contact us and we will then issue you with a returns number.
We recommend that you return your goods by recorded delivery as a receipt is not proof of postage/shipping. All items must be returned in their original packaging and condition. We will not be responsible for the return postage costs unless the goods are faulty, in which case the postage costs will be refunded by us.
*Event tickets booked with 30 days of an event taking place will not be refunded. All sales within this 30-day period are final.
If returning an item from outwith the European Union and to avoid paying unnecessary export taxes make sure the customs declaration paperwork is carefully completed. When labelling the package please mark it as "returned unwanted GB merchandise" with no value on the customs declaration to make sure no duty or tax is charged, as any taxes charged to Scottish Spina Bifida Association will be deducted from the value of the refund. If the charges are higher than the refund amount then the package will not be accepted. If you have any questions about this please contact us for advice.
Please follow instructions above and remember to use a trusted and assured parcel delivery service and make sure that postage is fully paid.
Standard UK delivery
We use Royal Mail to deliver your goods. We aim to dispatch goods within four working days, sooner if possible. Postage and packing is included in the price of item.
If you need your order quickly please contact us directly and we will do our best to get your goods to you as quickly as possible.
For all deliveries outwith the UK please contact us before you place your order to confirm postage charges.
All delivery times are subject to payment being received in full. Payment by cheque will delay dispatch time until the cheque has cleared.
