Sessional Support Workers
Up to 10 hours per week (mainly evening and weekend work)
Salary £7.50 per hour (3 Year Funding Available)
The Scottish Spina Bifida Association provides support, advice and information to individuals and families affected by Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus of all ages across Scotland.
6 x part time positions have now arisen for Sessional Support Workers to provide support that will enable young people aged 12-18years with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus in Lanarkshire and surrounding areas, to access social opportunities.
The successful candidates will have some experience and skills gained in the statutory or voluntary sector (preferably in the interests of young people affected by disability) in relation to health, and social care issues. Car drivers desirable.
