Edinburgh Christmas Events - 2013
The Edinburgh Christmas Events: the Walk, Run, Golden Tinsel Mile Walk and Santa Toddle will be taking place once again this year. Date is still TBC for the Christmas events but why not check out the summer events available from Challenge Scotland.
Edinburgh Christmas Walk
The Edinburgh Christmas Walk - This is a 6 mile walk starting and finishing in Inverleith Park. Dogs can enter enter but must be kept under strict control at all times.
The walk starts by going through and round Inverleith Park before going through the John Hope Gateway of Edinburgh's beautiful Royal Botanic Garden once in the garden the walk will take you to all parts of this wonderful garden. After you leave the garden, walkers then have the chance to walk along the peaceful Water of Leith and then soak up the village atmosphere of Stockbridge before re-entering Inverleith Park and the finish.

Edinburgh Christmas Run
The Challenge Scotland Edinburgh Christmas 5k Run will be taking place once again.
If you fancy a run instead of a walk then come along for this 5k fun run and if you feel really energetic do the run followed by the walk.
Use the run to raise money for your favourite charity or just run for fun.

Golden Tinsel Mile Walks
With this event you can walk or stroll 1,2 or 3 miles . You choose the distance.- Have you been inactive for sometime?
- Not wanting to or feel up to walking the longer distances?
- Do you want to participate in an event that will will be fun and also a bit of a challenge?
The Golden Tinsel Mile Walks are for you!

The Santa Toddle
The Santa Toddle, a walk for the "little ones".
Why not bring your little one to meet Santa after you have completed your walk or run. Age 6yrs and under.
Entry fee £5 ,each toddler will receive a toddle medal, certificate, and a Santa Goody Bag. So why not bring your little one along.
