Local family support group meetings

The Local Family Support Groups are designed to provide an opportunity for all families of children affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus to come together.

Children get a chance to meet their peers, have fun and participate in a range of activities including painting and games.

Parents have the opportunity to chat with other parents. Professional speakers of the parents choice will also be invited along to give informative talks in areas of interest to the parents.

Groups are held monthly on a Saturday in Glasgow (Cumbernauld), Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Parents who attend Ninewells also meet on a regular basis.Please contact Anne Kane by telephone 01236 794516 or email annek@ssba.org.uk for further details.
